Housing options for Incoming Freshmen

Incoming freshmen are strongly discouraged from living in the House. As part of Cornell’s North Campus Initiative, all freshmen live together in dormitories on North. Living in the dorms filled with their fellow freshmen is a great way to become integrated into the Cornell community. The North Campus dorms are a 10-15 minute walk from the Center for Jewish Living complex.

What about maintaining Jewish observance on North Campus? Not to worry! As part of the Initiative, Cornell provides hot, Kosher meals at Appel/North Star Dining twice daily for lunch and dinner! This is all part of why Cornell has the best Kosher Dining program in America!
