Living in "The House"
When you live in the CJL, the experience is more than just another campus residence hall. It is a place where you will truly be able to experience what a Jewish community should be like—a tolerant environment, with students of every observance level who respect one another, and treat them like family.
Location, location, location. This axiom holds true when living in the CJL. Conveniently located between West Campus and Collegetown, it is no more than a 5 minute walk from the Arts Quad, Noyes Community Center (Fitness Center, rock-climbing wall and more), and popular off-campus hangouts. Also, how can you beat having a Cornell Dining Hall (104 West!) right next door!
How about amenities? The CJL offers spacious rooms, extra-long beds, and fast internet connections, both wireless and wired. The CJL has two sets of laundry machines to be used free of charge by residents. There is also a Widescreen HDTV in the basement for watching DVD’s, HBO and sports, as well as playing videogames. Also, we have a Ping-pong table, a soundproof “Music Room,” and a study room fully equipped with a public-use computer.
